PRIVACY & ACCESS
What we collect,
and what we don't.
GoodOps works with other organizations' systems for a living, so how we handle information is part of the service, not a footnote. This page covers this website. Client engagements are governed by the services agreement and the access scope agreed before any work begins.
This website
- Forms. When you contact us we receive what you type: your name, work email, organization, team size and anything you add. We use it to reply and to prepare for a conversation. We don't sell it or add you to marketing lists without asking.
- Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are read. No advertising trackers.
- Cookies. This site stores nothing beyond what's needed to remember a preference such as paused animations.
Client work
- Permission before discovery. We agree the evidence scope before connecting to anything. Access to a tool is not permission to read every record in it.
- No surprise audience. Your organization owns its source data. Who sees what is agreed up front.
- Canadian routes. Where it matters to you, we configure Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and the tools we recommend so data stays in Canada.
- Recording and transcription. Modules that capture conversations are set up so people are told, can opt out, and sensitive conversations are excluded by rule. Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA, BC and Alberta PIPA, Quebec Law 25) is the floor, not the ceiling.
- Referral fees. Some tools we recommend pay GoodOps a referral fee. We take it, we disclose it, and it never changes which tool we pick.
Questions or requests
To ask what we hold about you or to have it removed, use the contact page and say so. We'll confirm within one business day.
Draft for review. Replace with GoodOps' reviewed privacy policy and link the services agreement before launch; the structure above is written so a reviewer can edit rather than start from scratch.
